Ruckus 901 R550 WW00 is an enterprise grade indoor WiFi 6 access point designed for reliable wireless connectivity in offices classrooms hospitality environments retail locations and other medium density deployments. Based on IEEE 802.11ax technology the RUCKUS R550 provides concurrent dual band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz connectivity with a combined peak PHY rate of up to 1774 Mbps.
The R550 uses 2x2 MIMO radios on both frequency bands and supports up to 512 concurrent clients per access point. Its patented BeamFlex Plus adaptive antenna technology dynamically selects directional antenna patterns to help improve coverage and reduce wireless interference. ChannelFly technology also helps optimize channel selection according to network conditions.
For modern IoT deployments the R550 integrates BLE and Zigbee capabilities and provides USB connectivity for future expansion. The access point includes two 1 GbE Ethernet ports and supports 802.3af and 802.3at PoE for flexible installation.
Ruckus 901 R550 WW00 supports RUCKUS Cloud SmartZone ZoneDirector and standalone management options making it suitable for scalable enterprise wireless networks.
